[SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA] United Nations Australia and the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney celebrated in advance the International Day of Peace yesterday, Sunday the 20th of September, by releasing doves at the front of St. Mary's Cathedral, Sydney.
The second reading on the 25th Sunday of Ordinary Time (Year B) writes, "Where do these wars and battles between yourselves start? Isn't it precisely in the desires fighting inside your own selves? You want something and you haven't got it; so you are prepared to kill" (cf. James 3:16-4:3).
